Reliability specialist

EPS Consulting Inc is looking for a Reliability Specialist to support our customers in optimizing the performance and availability of their critical assets.

Main responsibilities

Identify potential failures and analyze their causes to improve asset performance.
Design and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance plans.
Monitor key indicators (MTBF, MTTR, availability rates, etc.) to measure reliability and optimize operations.
Reduce maintenance costs while extending equipment life.
Use analysis tools to detect trends, identify weak points and propose improvements.
Lead projects to optimize equipment reliability and improve plant safety.
Train maintenance teams in reliability best practices.
Work with engineering teams, technicians and other stakeholders to ensure effective asset management.
Assess and minimize risks associated with critical equipment failures.
Document processes, results and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Training and skills

College diploma in mechanical, electrical or related engineering (university degree an asset)
Six years' experience in a similar role
Knowledge of reliability methods and tools (especially reverse RCM)
Proficiency in MS Office
Bilingualism (French and English)
